π Project Overview:
FreeFall was deployed in a high-risk, 11-storey garment manufacturing facility located in the Badda industrial zone of Dhaka. Each floor spans approximately 25,000 square feet, and the building accommodates over 2,500 factory workers daily.
Given the elevated risk of fire hazards, machinery heat, and seismic vulnerability in multi-level industrial structures, this facility was identified as a critical site for proactive disaster resilience.
π‘οΈ Key FreeFall Features Deployed:
-
π₯ Advanced Fire Detection Network
Multi-point thermal, smoke, and flame sensors across all production floors to detect and isolate incidents instantly. -
π Deep Earthquake Detection System
Underground P-wave sensor installed to provide 25β60 seconds of advance seismic warning, protecting workers from panic-related injuries and enabling safe evacuation procedures. -
π² Centralized Mobile Alert System
Emergency alerts instantly broadcast to floor managers, supervisors, and the factory command center for immediate coordinated action. -
π Evacuation Infrastructure Readiness
Prepared for deployment of inflatable evacuation slides for upper levels, ensuring rapid, mass descent from the 10th and 11th floors if required.
β Impact:
-
Enhanced safety for 2,500+ workers across 275,000+ sq. ft. of factory space
-
Improved compliance with international industrial safety standards
-
Direct coordination line established with local fire and emergency response authorities
-
A new benchmark for climate-resilient industrial safety in Bangladesh’s garment sector
